Open day 5th November 2022 December 5, 2022 – Posted in: Blog
What a day! The weather couldn’t really have been much worse! Torrential rain with more rain added just to make sure we knew it was raining!
But that didn’t stop us, nor did it stop a good number of people visiting the workshop to have a cuppa and a look around. So good to see some old friends visiting too.
Our volunteer team did a fantastic job of being project guides and standing by the kettle. We were also fortunate to receive much appreciated funds into the buckets from our visitors, so thank you to all that made the effort or found yourselves seeking shelter from the elements!
In the absence of favourable weather, to run our planned activities, we took the opportunity to encourage our volunteer team to exhibit some of their art around the viewing gallery and workshop. We are proud to have such a talented team on our project. Links to some of the artwork will be posted on the website when available so please keep an eye out for them.
Our next open day will be in the spring of 2023, further info will be posted here as soon as we have confirmed a date.
Thank you again to the team and to the visitors, we cannot do this without you. Remember we are open Mondays and some Wednesdays so please feel free to drop by and say hello, bring your friends and family too.
See you all soon!
